John J. Galiher
President, CEO

Mr. Galiher founded Preferred Freezer Services, LLC in November of 1989. Together with a select group of investment partners, Mr. Galiher directed the acquisition of Preferred's warehouse and transportation business, a family-owned regional operation with sales of $2.5 million. Mr. Galiher has been the driving force of our growth and corporate identity, since our inception, in 1989. His unique blend of experience in engineering, construction, sales and management has been key to the company’s success.

As President and CEO, Mr. Galiher is responsible for the company's growth, fiscal planning, market strategy, technical development and banking/financing relationships. Today, he has augmented the organizational chart to include a fully-integrated staff of executives to manage growing operations and expanding business opportunities.

Past employment experiences include sales, engineering and project execution for one of North America’s largest industrial refrigeration companies owned by the public company Toromont Industries. Prior to starting Preferred, Mr. Galiher was executive Vice President and Co-founder of Condyne Freezers, Inc. and was a member of the Board of Condyne, Inc.

Mr. Galiher has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southeastern Massachusetts University and numerous continuing education credentials relating to refrigerated specific technologies. He has received several awards for outstanding business achievements, been the subject of several industry articles relating to "state-of-the-art" technology and is an active member in both the National Fisheries Institute and International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses.

Samuel Hensley
Chief Financial Officer

Read Bio
Mr. Hensley joined the company in March 2009. His responsibilities include the financial, accounting and administration management of the company. He brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting and finance. Mr. Hensley’s background includes both large public companies and high growth entrepreneurial companies along with international and public accounting experience. As a CFO, Mr. Hensley has extensive experience leading companies through initial and secondary public offerings as well as acquisitions and strategic sales.

Prior to his current position, he was Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of PODS, Inc. PODS, Inc. is a provider of moving and storage services. His career started out at Arthur Andersen, LLP where he spent 10 years as an audit manager.

Mr. Hensley has a BS in Accounting from Bob Jones University, South Carolina and a MBA from Emory University, Georgia. Mr. Hensley is a CPA.

Tim McLellan
Managing Director International Business Development

In April 2009 Preferred Freezer Services hired Timothy McLellan to serve as the Managing Director of International Business Development. Mr. McLellan’s responsibility is to globally promote and establish the company's core business model of designing, building and operating refrigerated warehouse facilities. His initial focus will be on Asia, beginning with Vietnam and China, and the MENA region.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. McLellan served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Empress International Ltd., a leading U.S. importer and marketer of frozen seafood products. Mr. McLellan has more than 28 years of experience in sales, procurement, supply-chain management and business development in both domestic and international markets. His understanding of logistics and warehousing from a customer’s perspective is a valuable asset to the company. His previous leadership positions include: National Sales Manager for ConAgra Foods - Seafood Division; VP Sales and Marketing for Seafood Marketing Specialists, a procurement arm for US Foodservice; Director of Sales & International Business Development for Kolhoz Vostok-1/North Pacific Corp, a Russian company based in the U.S.; and Sales Manager for a Hawaii-based broadline foodservice distributor. Mr. McLellan’s background includes extensive overseas travels to establish foreign sales offices and oversee business development projects in Asia, Europe, Australia and Japan, along with procurement initiatives in Mexico and Central/South America.

As business continues its global expansion, Mr. McLellan will also represent the company’s awareness of and response to corporate social responsibilities, as expressed through affiliations with organizations such as the National Fisheries Institute and the Global Aquaculture Alliance.

Julius Heil
Executive VP, Operations and Supply Chain

Julius Heil has joined Preferred Freezer Services as Executive Vice President, Operations and Supply Chain.

Prior to joining Preferred Freezer Services, Julius held positions of increasing responsibility in global supply chain operations management, solutions development and implementation, multi-modal transportation systems and global sourcing and procurement strategy with 3PL companies such as CHEP, TransMontaigne, GeoLogistics, Burnham and UPS in support of Fortune 500 clients. Julius has profit & loss experience on 5 continents.

Julius has a BS in Transportation and Logistics from The Ohio State University, and is a member of numerous professional organizations including: The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, The Warehouse Education Research Council, Institute of Industrial Engineers, The Society of Logistics Engineers, The World Packaging Organization, and The Institute of Packaging Professionals (Certified Packaging Professional Designation).

Julius is a frequent speaker on relevant supply chain topics at industry events, roundtables and universities worldwide.

Julius holds nine US Patents related to innovation in supply chain, is a Supply & Demand Chain Executive 2010 Pro to Know, and is also an AmeriStar Award Winner for design excellence.

He is married with two children and enjoys woodworking, is an outdoorsman and participates in Boy Scouts with his son.

Brian Beattie
Executive Vice President, Sales

Brian Beattie joined Preferred Freezer Services in June 2010 as Executive Vice President, Sales with responsibility leading Sales, Business Development, Customer Service and Marketing. Before joining the Preferred Freezer Services team, Brian was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for CHEP U.S.A., a division of Brambles. He also led their global marketing, product engineering, mergers and acquisition initiatives. One of the most notable accomplishments was leading the acquisition and integration of Lean Logistics, a “Software as a Service” third party logistics provider. He has a deep background in sales and marketing with additional leadership experience at Ryder, Tenneco and Pepsi-Cola. Brian holds a BA in Business Administration, Transportation and Marketing from Michigan State University.

Doug Olmstead
Executive Vice President, Logistics

Read Bio
Mr. Olmstead joined the company in November 2007. His responsibilities include the development of value-added logistics programs and new business development. He will lead the company efforts in establishing extended supply chain solutions such as dedicated facility operations, transportation pool consolidation programs, and cross-docking.

Prior to joining the company, Doug held several senior positions with a major temperature controlled 3PL. Prior to his 3PL experience, Mr. Olmstead was employed by several large food manufacturers in various capacities, including the role of VP of Logistics and Customer Service at the Schwan Food Company, as well as supply chain lead roles at both The Pillsbury Company and The H.J. Heinz Company.

Mr. Olmstead has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He is certified by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) in Production and Inventory Management.

Dan DiDonato
Vice President of Sales

Mr. DiDonato joined Preferred Freezer Services in 1995 as Sales Manager for the company’s 1st location. In 2001, Mr. DiDonato was promoted to Vice President of Sales and remains in his current position today. During his 15 years with the company, Dan has been a key member of the executive team that drove the company’s unprecedented growth within the temperature controlled warehousing industry. His sales leadership was instrumental in growing a national sales team that took the company from operating several facilities to its current size of 25 locations in North America. Dan is responsible for the development of new business, managing existing national clients, customer service and marketing. Other responsibilities include managing and growing a nationwide sales team that currently consists of over 24 sales professionals and support personnel.

Mr. DiDonato has extensive knowledge within the global seafood industry and is an active member of the National Fisheries Institute where he serves on their board of directors. He also remains actively involved in several other industry associations including the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA).
Dan attended St. John’s University in New York where he earned his B.S. degree in communications. While attending college, he worked for Preferred Freezer Services in operations giving him a broad perspective on the company and the temperature controlled warehousing industry as a whole.

Bill Forrester
VP of Operations and Supply Chain

Mr. Forrester was promoted to Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain in June of 2010. Mr. Forrester joined Preferred Freezer Services in January of 1999 and has held a variety of positions:

Sales Manager Frozen Food Division, Perth Amboy, NJ 1999-2000. Responsibilities included sales revenue, account management and customer service, revenue analysis and accounts receivable.

General Manager Los Angeles and Vernon Divisions, CA 2000-2001, Medley Division 2007-2010. Responsibilities included day to day warehouse operations for two facilities, customer inventory, building maintenance, payroll and accounts payables.

Vice President of Development Preferred Freezer Services, 2001-2004. Responsibilities included start up of new facilities. The projects would begin working with the General Contractor as the Owner Representative to coordinate what the company needed for the facility. Mr. Forrester would implement the start of the operation by coordinating equipment installation, furniture, computers, phones, staffing and licenses for the facilities.

Development Preferred Freezer Services, 2006-2007. Responsibilities included the same as when serving in the capacity of VP of Development.

Prior to Preferred Freezer Services Mr. Forrester has also held positions as a Real Estate Agent, Sales Rep for Liquor Distributor and Manager in a Marina Management Company. He has a Masters Degree and Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL.

Todd Klumok
Vice President, Business Development

Mr. Klumok joined the company in June 2010. His responsibilities include the development and subsequent rollout of Preferred Freezer Services more comprehensive logistics offerings with a focus on the North American consumer packaged goods market.

Prior to joining the company, Todd held several senior level sales and marketing positions with two of the largest third-party providers of temperature-controlled food distribution services in the United States. His unique blend of analytical, operational, sales, and relationship management skills have contributed to his success in developing and executing regional and national distribution programs for many of the nation’s largest food companies. In addition to his 3PL experience, Todd also held consulting roles for companies involved in the supply chain and financial services industries.

Mr. Klumok has a MBA in Finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and a BS in Management from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. He is also certified by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) in Production and Inventory Management.

Lawrence Abbott
Regional Sales Director - West

Lawrence joined Preferred Freezer Services in January, 2004 as Sales Manager for the Los Angeles facility, along with responsibilities for the Washington Blvd and Food Center locations. His responsibilities included new sales, forecasting and budgeting, account and revenue analysis, competition research, coordinating new programs, training new sales managers, assisting with new facility start ups and growing sales at a regional and national level.

In January 2010, Lawrence was promoted to his current role as Regional Sales Director. In this newly created role, Lawrence leads sales and customer service for all facilities west of the Mississippi. His primary responsibilities include leading the sales team, driving sales growth through new business development, account optimization, goal oriented planning, execution and the highest levels of customer service.

Lawrence was born in Saigon, Vietnam and has lived in many places across the United States. His career started in law enforcement which he leveraged to enter the traditional business market. He spent the next 15 years in the firearms industry in roles ranging from retail to manufacturing and government contract work.

He is a member of the National Fisheries Institute and a Future Leaders graduate – Class of 2005, California Fisheries & Seafood Institute, Southern California Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Council, Northwest Fisheries Institute and a Global Aquaculture Alliance member. Lawrence is married with four children and enjoys music, theater, hiking and family.

John Ingrassia

Mr. Ingrassia joined the company in April of 2000 as Preferred Freezer Services expanded operations to the West Coast. John held the position of Sales Manager at several Los Angeles divisions as the company developed six new facilities in eight years. John’s duties included the development of new business, sales forecasting and budgeting, customer service, rate and competitive market analysis and p + l development.

In January of 2010, Mr. Ingrassia was promoted to Regional Sales Director for the Eastern United States. John will continue to work directly with the divisional Sales Manager team to focus on core sales growth through new business development and account and revenue analysis.

A 1995 graduate of West Virginia University, John holds a degree in Sociology and Anthropology. Robert Castaldi

Mr. Castaldi became Information Technology Manager in April of 2001. His responsibilities include network and database administration and overall design, configuration, and maintenance of the technology department. Mr. Castaldi also maintains the Company's Accounting System. He regularly updates, enhances and maintains the system to meet the changing needs of the Company. Prior to his current position Mr. Castaldi served as an independent computer consultant during which time he gained extensive knowledge in both Microsoft Server and Desktop products. Paddy Sellino
Director Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

Ms. Sellino became the Director of Strategic Souring and Procurement in 2011. Her responsibilities include the establishment and adherence to standard operating procedures throughout Preferred Freezers. Paddy is involved from the inception of each new facility providing oversight throughout its operation to maintain uniformity at all installations. Ms. Sellino is continually required to stay current with all upgrades and new generations of Warehouse Logic – our computer warehousing program. Her skills in the MIS department lead her to developing a state of the art online service for customers and employees which is being implemented nationwide.

Ms. Sellino began her tenure with Preferred Freezers in 1995. She was Customer Service Representative of the Year in 1996 and has maintained perfect attendance since her first day at Preferred. She has faithfully served Preferred in a variety of capacities, including Assistant Office Manager and Manager of Information Services prior to her elevation to her current position.

Ms. Sellino is a graduate of du Cret School of Arts. Past employments include working for the top magazines such as Seventeen, Automobile, The New Yorker and Maribella. Shortly thereafter, she obtained her certificate from Chubb Technical Institute, specializing in Computers and Technical Support in 2000.
